1. Entrance & Drive
Enter a long, private drive, past a cobblestone cottage and barn overlooking the dam and waterfalls. Soon, the lake emerges and the main house across the lake. Next, a large rock bluff appears, offering a panoramic view of the lake and home. Attention is again focused on the main house as one passes the bluff and falls.
2. Main House Exterior & Garage
The main house has the old-world presence of a refined, rural manor. Imported Ludowici clay roofing tiles, cast-stone balustrades, nature stone retaining walls, copper gutters & wrought-iron gates complete the Tuscan style. A 3-car garage/workspace adjoins the outdoor living room.
3. Main House Pool & Gardens
The outdoor living space welcomes guests with patios, verandas, stone pillars, heavy-timbered pergolas, peacock tile and flagstone decking, a spa, outdoor living room and kitchen, and a heated 40 x 15 black diamond gunite pool with electric cover.
4. Main House Interior
Inside is rustic elegance: heavy texture & creamy earth tones, dark-stained, wide-planked flooring, hand-hewn beams, cast-stone & marble fireplaces, custom glass-paneled doors & windows, crystal chandeliers, custom cabinetry, granite, travertine and marble.
5. Lake, Land, & Waterfalls
From the walls of a rock bluff, a cave gives birth to a natural spring which feeds a lake below. The lake is 16ft deep and extends 300ft directly in front of the main house. It is formed by a dam which spans 150ft. Water from the cave tumbles down a natural rock waterfall entering the lake. Water from the lake spills over the dam and cascades 20ft before dropping over another set of falls equal in height.
6. Guest House
The quaint cobblestone cottage features one bedroom and one bath. It is conveniently and privately located on the opposite side of the lake from the main house and serves as a charming guesthouse.
7. Barn
Across from the cottage guesthouse, a 3-story, European-style cobblestone barn overlooks the dam and cascading falls below. The barn can be entered at each level from three different sides.
8. Potting Shed & Garden
The rustic potting shed may fool the observer with its stone exterior and moss laden roof, but the modern interior will delight the most discerning gardener. Custom cabinets have pull out shelving for plenty of storage. Peg boards line the walls for organizing tools. Hidden behind the potting shed is a large nature gas generator. It provides emergency power to the home in case of an outage.
